Wow.

Post number 100. Holy hannah.

Here we are on Christmas eve eve. Tib's Eve if you will. 3 years 8 months and 26 days from the day I published my first post. And now I am at 100.

Natasha and I went for a beautiful, even a bit cold, walk. Oh how I love our walks.

Snowboarding!

We finally took advantage of our Cyrpess passes from 2 or 3 years ago and had an amazing time this past Sunday snowboarding. We left bright and early in the morning, loaded on all our gear and his the hill. I only face planted seven times that day! My neck still hurts.
Midway through the day we met up for lunch.
Chili, jalapeno and cheddar scones, rosemary and vinegar chips, apples and coffee.
There is nothing better than coming in for lunch and warming up with a steaming coffee. Even shitty coffee.
Cypress is the most beautiful mountian I have ever been on. The views would make me stop mid run and sit in the snow to gawk at the beautiful scene. You can see the ocean and most of Vancouver, and it was a clear afternoon so we could see very far.

My birthday

Wow! I am way behind!
I haven't posted in a week and last time I did post I didn't even tell you about my birthday. We've been extremely busy around here, even just ten minutes to sit down is a rare occurrence.
On the 13th we had cake and coffee at my mother's house, and someone who loves me gifted me the most comfortable, cute pajamas.
The 14th started with breakfast at a local cafe followed by a morning of clothes shopping and a trip into Vancouver. We ate mussels and fries and drank incredible Belgian beer. The my two besties joined us for dessert which we devoured!
My husband gave me a camera bag I so desperately needed, but not just any old camera bag either. This one has a waterproof hard bottom and hanging suspension. Sweet!
We spent the following week working and baking and mentally preparing for this week.

Cookies!

We had an awesome Saturday!
We (the whole of us) went to a community day free movie. Steph and I went to see despicable me and the rest to how to train your dragon. Popcorn for breakfast...no really.
We decorated cookies, both sugar and gingerbread. They actually tasted pretty okay, I'm not sure though, no one really said anything.
Finally to top the night off, Tash, Mom and I went to the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra, which, as always, blew me out the water. We drank a glass or two of wine and indulged (as if popcorn for breakfast and cookies for lunch wern't enough) in delicious goat cheese and crackers.
